About the Hangcha XF25 LPG
The Hangcha XF25 LPG is a 2,500 kg rated LPG counterbalance forklift from Hangcha's XF series — one of the most capable compact IC forklifts at this capacity point. It's built for warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing plants, and outdoor yards where clean-burning LPG is preferred over diesel.
Hangcha has been building forklifts since 1956 and is now one of the top five forklift manufacturers globally. The XF25 reflects that depth of engineering experience: a well-sorted, production-proven machine with a strong support network in Australia.
Engine & Performance
The XF25 LPG runs a GCT GK25 LPG engine — a 2,488cc inline-4 producing 43.4 kW at 2,700 rpm. In older non-Stage V variants sold in Australia the Nissan K25 carbureted engine was fitted; the current generation uses the electronically controlled GCT unit.
LPG power means lower exhaust emissions than diesel, making the XF25 suitable for use in partially enclosed environments with adequate ventilation. Fuel consumption is competitive, and LPG is widely available and easy to swap on-site.
Visibility & Operator Comfort
The XF series mast profile is designed to maximise forward sightlines without sacrificing lift capacity. The angled counterweight improves rear visibility when reversing — a genuine benefit in busy warehouse aisles. Cab comfort is solid: the overhead guard, seat, and powertrain are fully suspended to reduce vibration and fatigue on longer shifts.
Braking System
The XF25 comes standard with a wet disc transmission brake. Enclosed brake surfaces deliver consistent stopping performance in dusty and wet conditions and require significantly less maintenance than drum-style systems. The waterproof electrical connectors add an extra layer of durability in damp operating environments.
